A-Z // Smart Shopping

Hey All!

Today I'm doing my second A to Z post, because my last one was very well recieved. Hope you enjoy this one just as much.

A - Always shop sales, everything goes on sale eventually!

B - Brand names don't matter. You can find ecsincally the same thing with the only difference being the tag and where it was purchased.

C - Cash is good, and you should use it as much as you can. You will spend less when you see what resources you have left.

D - Don't drop your bags off in the car in the middle of shopping. As with the cash, it's good to see what you have accumulaited throughout your shopping.

E - Emotions can effect your shopping. Don't let them get the better of you.

F - Fit matters. Don't buy something that doesn't fit correctly because you will be less likely to wear it and get your money's worth out of it.

G - Get a second persons opinion. It's good to have an outsiders prespective on what looks good or doesn't, you don't want to embarrass yourself!

H - Homemade gifts are just as good! Before going out to buy gifts, remember homemade things from the heart are even better.

I - If you put on a dress/shirt/skirt/outfit and feel amazing and confident, get it! This doesn't mean every single time you like something you should buy it though. Use common sense.

J - Just buy the basics. This way you spend less money on things you can wear more often.

K - Keep an open mind. It's always good to try something new and step out of your comfort zone.

L - Leave the store if you can't decide. This way you can decide whether or not you really want/need something without the pressure of the employees.

M - Make sure to count and save your change. It adds up extremely quickly.

N - Never shop bored, it will result in you buying more than you need.

O - Outlet malls are your friend, the same thing at the same store will be cheaper at an outlet then the mall.

P - Price match, most stores honor this.

Q - Quickly check over your receipt. The cashier could've made a mistake to their benefit, and you don't want that!

R - Research before you make a big purchase. Chances are the store you were originally going to is not the owner of the best deal.

S - Shop online. Stores normally have more options and more clearence items on their websites.

T - Try EVERYTHING on. Things look different on your body then they do on the hanger, so better
safe then sorry.

U - Use a list. This way, you don't get off track and buy things you don't need.

saVe your tags and reciepts so you can return peices after owning them for a couple days.

W - When in doubt, don't make the purchase. You can think over the item at home, and order it online later.

X-out -  distractions. Without them (distractions) you can focus more on getting your shopping done thoughtfully.

Y - You'd be surprised what you can find at second hand shops. My grandpa found a Patagonia jacket at his local thrift store!

prioritiZe - This way you can avoid impulse buys and save money.

Thanks for reading! Please leave requests for new posts down below. Watch out for a new post on Atlanta in the near future;)
