A Day In My Life: Durham Edition | Tables and Closets

Hey All!

Recently I had the day off school so my siblings, my mom and I all went to Downtown Durham for the day. I took photos along the day and so I thought I'd share. Enjoy!

Driving there.

All of the cute little shops along the main road. I love Durham for this very reason, it's just so cute! There is no other place in North Carolina where you can find so many unique shops and such all in one place.

Another thing I really enjoy about Durham is the slight hippiness of the city, as the above stickers exhibit.

Next our family headed to my personal favorite bookstore, The Regulator. It's your classic book shop, small and jam packed with books. All of the employees are kind and helpful and there are books for everyone. On this particular day I got the book, "I'll Give You The Sun". It's really good so far, I'd totally recommend it.

For lunch we went to my favorite restaurant in North Carolina, Blue Corn. I got my typical rice, beans, and plantains. It was delicious of course!

Another cool thing about Durham is how varied the architecture is, as the photos above exhibit. These places were next store to each other.

The drive home.

Hope you enjoyed this post! My birthday is on Thursday so I may not post then, but I'll get posts up this weekend. See you then!

P.S. I'll be back to my normal posting schedule next week.
