SO You're Having A Bad Day...? // Dr. Isabel

Hey friends!

Today I am bringing you a different post than normal. It's basically me pretending to be a psychologist, oops.

Sometimes we all just have those days that, for no particular reason, suck. When I have a terrible 24 hour segment these are my go-to ways to fix it up.

So you're having a bad day, what now? Here are the things I like to do when my day has sucked.

exercise #endorphins

spend time with friends and family

bake (the activity takes focus)

make a list of all the things I'm great full for

go outside, do something in nature

take myself shopping #TreatYoSelf

turn off my phone

look at positive quotes on Pinterest

take a hot shower or bath

sing at the top of my lungs (no matter how bad I sound:)

write in a journal (get my feelings on paper)

buy flowers (a bunch of studies have shown having flowers/floral scents around can improve your mood)

do something kind for someone else

meditate

cuddle a pet, cute animal, or little baby XD


Remember that there's a new day tomorrow, and that you have the same hours in the day as Beyoncé
