Hey All!
With Easter around the corner I've decided that my two posts this week will be Easter themed. Because I haven''t done a review since the very start of my blogging days, that it what I felt should be done today. These are the Lake Champlain Chocolate Easter Eggs, hope you enjoy!

***Spelling error in the photo below, it's "caramel" not "carmel"***
I got three kinds, Coconut Cream, Caramel, Raspberry Mocha and Peanut Butter. Don't worry, I didn't eat these all myself, my sister helped out.
The first one we tried was Coconut Cream. This was my favorite. The sweet coconut balanced out the dark chocolate really well. If I were to change one thing about this it would be to add coconut shreds into the coconut cream.
Next was Caramel, this was my sisters favorite. In my opinion, this one was nothing special. Same old carmel in same old chocolate, you could probably find a larger quantity of this same thing cheaper, just made by another brand.
Third was Peanut Butter. I am a peanut butter lover, so I was excited about this one. As with the coconut cream chocolate egg, the two flavors in this balanced each other perfectly. My only drawback with this is that the peanut butter was a little dry.
Finally we tried Raspberry Mocha. My sister thought it was gross and spit it out right away. Personally, I enjoyed it. There was a slight hint of the fruit, nothing to overpowering.

Those were the four chocolates we tried! Something I felt that really added to them was the fact that they are made with quality ingredients. No chemicals, just good ol' whole milk, cocoa, and sugar. That is the factor that sets them apart. Like I said, my favorite was Coconut, but if you just want to try one I would take the safe route and try Peanut Butter.
These can be purchased on the Lake Champlain website { http://www.lakechamplainchocolates.com/seasonal-chocolates/easter-eggs-and-more/ } or at your local grocery store. I found mine at my neighborhood co-op.

Hope this post was helpful. Sorry that it's late, I'll be back on my normal posting schedule tomorrow. Until then, adios!
